Concert Venue Change

Due to Faneuil Hall’s Great Hall’s closure for restoration work, the Bach, Beethoven, & Brahms Society’s The Stoltzmans play Bach...& Bernstein (March 3, 2024) and Yehudi Wyner at 95! with Kashkashian & Levin (April 28, 2024) will now be held at the Harvard Club of Boston, 374 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.

The Bach, Beethoven, & Brahms Society is not affiliated with Harvard University, nor are The Stoltzmans play Bach...& Bernstein or Yehudi Wyner at 95! with Kashkashian & Levin concerts, a Harvard University program or activity.

    Our parade of double concertos brings us one of the music world’s ‘power couples’ --- Mika and Richard Stoltzman. Together they’ll play Astor Piazzolla’s Bach-inspired Fuga y misterio, and their solo turns will be in Bach’s beloved Chaconne in D minor (Mika, playing her own marimba transcription) and Leonard Bernstein’s Clarinet Sonata (Richard, playing a version for string orchestra commissioned for him). Keeping with the Bach/Latin ‘theme’ of our guest artists, the orchestra will play Teresa Carreño’s ‘Little Waltz’ and Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 9.
